Typically used in conjunction with capnography monitors and are designed to collect samples of respiratory gases for analysis.
Made of flexible tubing with connectors at both ends: One end is attached to the patient's airway, such as an endotracheal tube or a nasal cannula, while the other end is connected to the capnography monitor.
Allow for the continuous monitoring of end-tidal carbon dioxide (EtCO2) levels and oxygen concentration (O2) in the patient's exhaled breath.
